Bibliography of University of Kaiserslautern-Landau

The university bibliography (Biblio KL) lists scientific publications of affiliated members of the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU). As an archival instrument, it is essential for documenting the university’s achievements in science and research and increasing their visibility. The university library provides editorial support for the university bibliography.

What is being recorded in Biblio KL?

  • Currently, all scientific journal articles in which at least one member of the RPTU is involved are recorded.
  • For the entry, it is irrelevant whether it is an electronic or printed publication.
  • In the future, other types of publications such as conference papers, research reports, book contributions, monographs, or conference proceedings will be included.
  • Full texts can be published via KLUEDO, the document server of the RPTU.
  • Scientists and institutes report their publications to be recorded in Biblio KL.
  • In addition, the university library lists TUK publications from other article databases.

We highly appreciate your help in listing your publications in Biblio KL. By doing so, you also support the RPTU in applying for third-party funding for the financial support of oa publications.

Explanation of relevant fields

  • Author status: For the DFG program Open Access Publication Costs, only publications for which authors of the university are also corresponding authors will be considered for the calculation of the funds.
  • ORCID: The specification of your ORCID facilitates the clear assignment of your publications in the case of widely used names.
  • Document license: The DFG funding program Open Access Publication Costs limits funding for publications with restrictive licenses.
  • Research funding: This information can be filtered in the Biblio search, thereby helping to make the publication output of externally funded research visible.
  • Article Processing Charge: It is in the interest of the university to centrally monitor all publication costs. Therefore we appreciate your support.
  • Document number of the APC booking: This number helps to link the booking in the university administration with the publication. You will find the document number on your cost center statement.
ORCID iD: Your benefits
  • Your name is easy to find, despite name variants, different spellings and name changes.
  • With ORCID, you can maintain your publication list in one place, saving time.
  • Your publications are clearly linked to you and can be found online at any time, even if they are not recorded in databases such as Scopus.
  • You can use your ORCID iD and profile for your entire professional career.
  • Use your ORCID iD for all scientific activities, e.g. when contacting publishers, funding agencies, at conferences, on presentation slides, on your website, in the footer of your emails and in internet and research forums.
  • Using an ORCID iD means a significant reduction in administration burden, as you can easily grant external parties access to your profile and the research work documented there.
  • Connect your ORCID iD with your RPTU account. Please follow the instructions provided by RHRZ for the connection.
Getting started with ORCID
  1. Register for free. If you are unsure whether you already have one, search for your name at ORCID.
  2. Enable automatic data synchronization for your publications. To do so, link Crossref and DataCite to your profile. We also recommend linking Scopus if your publications are listed in this database.
  3. Alternatively, you can also create an ORCID iD in the RPTU account management. Please follow the instructions provided by RHRZ for the connection.
